I lay my life at the Altar.

An altar is a place of worship.It is a place where we meet with God. It is a place where holiness and purity dwell. It is a place where we fall down before God and worship him.
It is a place of sacrifice. It is a place of surrender. It is a place where we find peace with God. It is a place where we hand over our life to God and trust in his mercy and goodness.

Prayer
Dear Jesus,
I come to the altar as I am
I come empty handed
I trust in your goodness and mercy
I hand over my life to you
Please do with me as pleasing to you
I want to see you with my eyes
I want to touch you with my hands.
My Lord and my king.
Amen.
